And Yosĕph commanded and they filled their sacks with grain, also to put back every man’s silver to his sack, and to give them food for the journey. And thus it was done for them.
But he said, “Do not strike. Do you strike those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? Set food and water before them and let them eat and drink and go to their master.”
And Sha’ul said, “I have sinned. Come back, my son Dawiḏ. For no more am I going to do evil to you, because my life was precious in your eyes today. See, I have acted foolishly, and have greatly strayed.”
