Hear my prayer, O Elohim; Give ear to the words of my mouth.
O יהוה, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my prayers.
Hasten, answer me, O יהוה; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those going down into the pit.
Look! Answer me, O יהוה my Elohim; Enlighten my eyes, Lest I sleep in death;
And the Ziphites came up to Sha’ul at Giḇ‛ah, saying, “Is Dawiḏ not hiding with us in strongholds Ḥoresh, in the hill of Ḥaḵilah, which is on the south of the wasteland?
And the Ziphites came to Sha’ul at Giḇ‛ah, saying, “Is not Dawiḏ hiding himself in the hill of Ḥaḵilah, overlooking the wasteland?”
