Hasten, answer me, O יהוה; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those going down into the pit.
Do not hide Your face from me In the day of my distress; Incline Your ear to me; In the day I call, answer me speedily.
For He has not despised Nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard.
Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in displeasure; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O Elohim of my deliverance.
I cry to You, O יהוה my Rock: Do not be deaf to me! For if You are silent to me, I shall be like those who go down to the pit.
But I am poor and needy; Let יהוה think upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my Elohim, do not delay!
And do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am in distress; Answer me speedily.
Draw near to my being, redeem it; Ransom me because of my enemies.
I am worn out from my crying; My throat is dry; My eyes grow dim As I wait for my Elohim.
But I am poor and needy; Hasten to me, O Elohim! You are my help and my deliverer; O יהוה, do not delay.
O Elohim, do not be far from me; My Elohim, hasten to my help!
My being has longed, and even fainted, For the courts of יהוה; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living Ěl.
Expectancy drawn out makes the heart sick, But a longing come true is a tree of life.
“For She’ol does not thank You, nor death praise You; those who go down to the pit do not watch for Your truth.
“For I would not strive forever, nor am I wroth forever, for the spirit would grow faint before Me, even the beings I have made.
And I shall wait on יהוה, who hides His face from the house of Ya‛aqoḇ. And I shall look for Him.
men fainting from fear and the expectation of what is coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
