He who loves transgression loves strife, He who exalts his door seeks destruction.
And it came to be after this that Aḇshalom prepared a chariot and horses for himself, and fifty men to run before him.
And Aḏoniyah son of Ḥaggith exalted himself, saying, “I reign.” And he prepared for himself a chariot and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.

The beginning of strife is like releasing water; Therefore stop fighting before it breaks out.
Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before esteem is humility.

For I fear lest, when I come, I do not find you such as I wish, and I be found by you such as you do not wish – lest there be strife, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, slander, gossip, puffings up, unrests,
for the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of Elohim.
