The righteousness of the straight ones delivers them, But the treacherous are caught by greed.

He who digs a pit falls into it, and whoever breaks through a wall is bitten by a snake.


The wrong one is entrapped In his own crookednesses, And he is caught in the cords of his sin.

Tet The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught.


The defiled one destroys his neighbour with his mouth, But the righteous is delivered by knowledge.
