And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
“Therefore you shall have no one in the assembly of יהוה to divide the land by lot.
“The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Yardĕn of Yeriḥo eastward, toward the sunrise.”
“These are the names of the men who divide the land among you as an inheritance: El‛azar the priest, and Yehoshua son of Nun.
Now these the children of Yisra’ĕl inherited in the land of Kena‛an, which El‛azar the priest, and Yehoshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Yisra’ĕl caused them to inherit.
And Yehoshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before יהוה, and there Yehoshua divided the land to the children of Yisra’ĕl according to their portions.
