And when evening came, there came a rich man from Ramathayim, named Yosĕph, who himself had also become a taught one of יהושע.
And He was appointed a burial-site with the wrong, and with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was deceit in His mouth.
He went to Pilate and asked for the body of יהושע. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given.
And when his taught ones heard of it, they came and took away his dead body and laid it in a tomb.
“And when they had accomplished all that was written concerning Him, taking Him down from the timber, they laid Him in a tomb.
And there was a certain man of Ramathayim Tsophim, of the mountains of Ephrayim, and his name was Elqanah son of Yeroḥam, son of Elihu, son of Tohu, son of Tsuph, an Ephrayimite.
Then he returned to Ramah, for his home was there. And there he rightly ruled Yisra’ĕl, and there he built a slaughter-place to יהוה.
