But the rest said, “Leave it, let us see if Ěliyahu comes to save Him.”
And Ěliyahu the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gil‛aḏ, said to Aḥaḇ, “As יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl lives, before whom I stand, there shall be no dew or rain these years, except at my word.”
Saying, “Elohim has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is no one to deliver.”
And immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, and filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and gave it to Him to drink.
And יהושע cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.
