And Elohim created the man in His image, in the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them.

And יהוה Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to be alone, I am going to make a helper for him, as his counterpart.”

And the man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”

Male and female He created them, and He blessed them, and called their name ‘Aḏam’ in the day they were created.

And Yehoyaḏa took for him two wives, and he brought forth sons and daughters.

And did He not make one? And He had the remnant of the Spirit? And what is the one alone? He seeks a seed of Elohim. So you shall guard your spirit, and let none act treacherously against the wife of his youth.

But He said to them, “Have you not read what Dawiḏ did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

יהושע said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone which the builders rejeted has become the chief corner-stone. This was from יהוה, and it is marvellous in our eyes’?

And the taught ones went, and having done as יהושע ordered them,

And concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by Elohim, saying,”

Have you not read this Scripture, ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone.

And concerning the dead, that they rise – have you not read in the book of Mosheh, at the bush, how Elohim spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the Elohim of Aḇraham, and the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ’?

And He said to them, “Have you never read what Dawiḏ did when he had need and was hungry, he and those with him?

And He said to him, “What has been written in the Torah? How do you read it?”

And יהושע answering them, said, “Have you not read what Dawiḏ did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him,
