“Then I sent messengers from the Wilderness of Qeḏĕmoth to Siḥon sovereign of Ḥeshbon, with words of peace, saying,

and Yahtsah, and Qeḏĕmoth, and Mĕpha‛ath,

And from the tribe of Re’uḇĕn, Betser with its open land, Yahtsah with its open land,

And from the tribe of Gaḏ, Ramoth in Gil‛aḏ with its open land as a city of refuge for the man-slayer, and Maḥanayim with its open land,
