“Only be strong and very courageous, to guard to do according to all the Torah which Mosheh My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it right or left, so that you act wisely wherever you go.

then you shall prosper, if you guard to do the laws and right-rulings with which יהוה commanded Mosheh concerning Yisra’ĕl. Be strong and brave, do not fear nor be discouraged.


“And you shall guard to do as יהוה your Elohim has commanded you – do not turn aside, to the right or to the left.


“Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely.


Do not turn to the right or the left; Turn your foot away from evil.


As יהוה had commanded Mosheh his servant, so Mosheh commanded Yehoshua, and so Yehoshua did. He did not turn aside a word of all that יהוה had commanded Mosheh.


All the words I am commanding you, guard to do it – do not add to it nor take away from it.


And Mosheh called Yehoshua and said to him before the eyes of all Yisra’ĕl, “Be strong and courageous, for you are going with this people to the land which יהוה has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you are to let them inherit it.


“Therefore you shall guard the words of this covenant, and do them, so that you prosper in all that you do.


“And do not turn aside from any of the Words which I am commanding you today, right or left, to go after other mighty ones to serve them.


“I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of right-ruling,


“And guard the Charge of יהוה your Elohim: to walk in His ways, to guard His laws, His commands, His right-rulings, and His witnesses, as it is written in the Torah of Mosheh, so that you do wisely all that you do and wherever you turn;


and laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as יהוה commanded by the hand of Mosheh.


And it came to be, after the death of Mosheh the servant of יהוה, that יהוה spoke to Yehoshua son of Nun, the assistant of Mosheh, saying,


“And you shall guard every command which I command you today, so that you are strong, and shall go in, and shall possess the land which you are passing over to possess,


“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be discouraged, for יהוה your Elohim is with you wherever you go.”


“And you shall be very strong to guard and to do all that is written in the Book of the Torah of Mosheh, so as not to turn aside from it right or left,


“I am going the way of all the earth. And you shall be strong, and be a man.


And he did what was right in the eyes of יהוה, and walked in all the ways of his father Dawiḏ, and did not turn aside, right or left.


“But you, be strong and do not let your hands be feeble, for there is a reward for your work!”


And יהוה said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Iyoḇ, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and straight man, one who fears Elohim and turns aside from evil?”


And he said, “Do not fear, O man greatly appreciated! Peace be to you, be strong now, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my master speak, for you have strengthened me.”


“Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim which I am commanding you.


and took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Re’uḇĕnites, and to the Gaḏites, and to half the tribe of Menashsheh.


And he sought Elohim in the days of Zeḵaryahu, who had understanding in the visions of Elohim. And while he sought יהוה, Elohim made him prosper.


Turn us back, O יהוה Elohim of hosts, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved!
