“Arise, go to Ninewĕh, that great city, and proclaim to it the message that I am speaking to you.”
to establish these days of Purim at their appointed times, as Mordeḵai the Yehuḏi and Sovereigness Estĕr had established for them, and as they had established for themselves and their seed concerning matters of their fastings and lamenting.
Mosheh then told Aharon all the words of יהוה who had sent him, and all the signs which He had commanded him.
“Now, gird up your loins and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not break down before their faces, lest I break you before them.
And יהוה said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ but go to all to whom I send you, and speak whatever I command you.
“And you shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Yisra’ĕl. And you shall hear a word from My mouth, and shall warn them from Me.
“Arise, go to Ninewĕh, the great city, and cry out against it, for their evils have come up before Me.”
And the word of יהוה came to Yonah the second time, saying,
And Yonah arose and went to Ninewĕh, according to the word of יהוה. Now Ninewĕh was a great city before Elohim, of three day’s journey.
“Bear, therefore, fruits worthy of repentance,
Afterward יהושע found him in the Set-apart Place, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, so that no worse matter befalls you.”
