And it was the Preparation Day of the Pĕsaḥ week, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Yehuḏim, “See your Sovereign!”

And from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land, until the ninth hour.

On the next day, which was after the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate,

And it was the third hour, and they impaled Him.

And when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

And it was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over all the land, until the ninth hour.

And it was Preparation day, and the Sabbath was approaching.

and came to Him and said, “Greetings, Sovereign of the Yehuḏim!” And they slapped Him in the face.

There, then, because of the Preparation Day of the Yehuḏim, they laid יהושע, because the tomb was near.

Then יהושע came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “See the Man!”
