Would Ěl hear his cry when distress comes upon him?
When I looked for good, then evil came to me. And when I waited for light, darkness came.
And Eliphaz the Tĕmanite answered and said,
When I say, ‘My bed does comfort me, my couch does ease my complaint,’
then You frighten me with dreams and make me afraid with visions,
For the sake of Your Name, O יהוה, revive me! In Your righteousness, Bring my being out of distress.
