that the singing of the wrong is short-lived, and the joy of the defiled one is but for a moment?
And Yo’aḇ said, “Let me not waste time here with you.” And he took three spears in his hand and thrust them through Aḇshalom’s heart, while he was still alive in the midst of the terebinth tree.
And ten young men who bore Yo’aḇ’s armour went around, and struck Aḇshalom and put him to death.
And they hanged Haman on the wooden structure that he had prepared for Mordeḵai, and the sovereign’s wrath abated.
For you say, ‘Where is the house of the noble one? And where is the tent, the dwelling place of the wrong ones?’
For what is the expectancy of the defiled one, when He does cut off, when Eloah takes away his life?
So that a defiled one should not reign, lest the people be ensnared.
I myself have seen the fool taking root, but suddenly his home was cursed.
See, this is the joy of His way, and out of the dust others grow.
Waw Yet a little while and the wrong is no more; And you shall look on his place, But it is not.
יהוה, how long are the wrong, How long are the wrong going to exult?
They pour forth words, They speak arrogantly; All the workers of wickedness boast in themselves.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter into the reign of the heavens, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the heavens.
But let each one examine his own work, and then he shall have boasting in himself alone, and not in another.
But now you boast in your proud speeches. All such boasting is wicked.
