He shakes off his unripe grape like a vine, and throws off his blossom like an olive tree.

He comes forth like a flower and withers. He flees like a shadow and does not continue.

The fear of יהוה prolongs days, But the years of the wrong ones are shortened.

The earth shall mourn and languish, Leḇanon shall be ashamed. Sharon shall be withered like a desert, and Bashan and Karmel be shaking.

And the stars of the heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs, being shaken by a strong wind.
