He again defines a certain day, “Today,” saying through Dawiḏ so much later, as it has been said, “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

For He is our Elohim, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you would hear His voice:

Dawiḏ himself said by the Set-apart Spirit, ‘יהוה said to my Master, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool of Your feet.” ’


And it came to be, in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Yisra’ĕl had come out of the land of Mitsrayim, in the fourth year of the reign of Shelomoh over Yisra’ĕl, in the new moon of Ziw, which is the second new moon, that he began to build the House of יהוה.


Men and brothers, let me speak boldly to you of the ancestor Dawiḏ, that he died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
