Genesis 42:36

And Ya‛aqoḇ their father said to them, “You have bereaved me – Yosĕph is no more, and Shim‛on is no more, and you would take Binyamin! All this is against me.”

So Re’uḇĕn spoke to his father, saying, “Take the lives of my two sons if I do not bring him back to you. Put him in my hands, and I myself bring him back to you.”

And Ěl Shaddai give to you compassion before the man, so that he shall release your other brother and Binyamin. And I, if I am bereaved, I am bereaved!

And he searched, with the oldest first and with the youngest last, and the cup was found in Binyamin’s sack.

And Yisra’ĕl said, “Enough! My son Yosĕph is still alive. Let me go and see him before I die.”

And Yosĕph provided his father, and his brothers, and all his father’s household with bread for the mouth of the little ones.

Remember that my life is a breath! My eye is never again to see good.

Rĕsh Many are the evils of the righteous, But יהוה delivers him out of them all.

The end of a matter is better than its beginning. The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

Therefore by this the crookedness of Ya‛aqoḇ is covered. And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: when he makes all the stones of the slaughter-place like chalkstones that are beaten to dust – Ashĕrim and sun-pillars rise no more.

I said, “Am I to go into the gates of She’ol in the prime of my life? Shall I be deprived of the rest of my years?”

Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look around, for I am your Elohim. I shall fortify you, I shall also help you, I shall also uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.’

Thus said יהוה, “A voice was heard in Ramah, wailing, bitter weeping, Raḥĕl weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.”

And immediately יהושע stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “O you of little belief, why did you doubt?”

And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to his purpose.

What then shall we say to this? If Elohim is for us, who is against us?

No trial has overtaken you except such as is common to man, and Elohim is trustworthy, who shall not allow you to be tried beyond what you are able, but with the trial shall also make the way of escape, enabling you to bear it.

For this slight momentary pressure is working for us a far more exceeding and everlasting weight of esteem.

And Dawiḏ said in his heart, “Now I shall perish by the hand of Sha’ul, some day. There is naught better for me than to escape to the land of the Philistines. Then Sha’ul shall give up searching for me any longer in any part of Yisra’ĕl, and I shall escape out of his hand.”
