And it came to be, as her life was going out – for she died – that she called his name Ben-Oni. But his father called him Binyamin.

And when Raḥĕl saw that she bore Ya‛aqoḇ no children, Raḥĕl envied her sister, and said to Ya‛aqoḇ, “Give me children, or else I am going to die!”

And it came to be, as she was having great difficulty giving birth, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear, for it is another son for you.”

So Raḥĕl died and was buried on the way to Ephrath, that is Bĕyth Leḥem.

the sons of Raḥĕl were Yosĕph and Binyamin;

But he said, “My son is not going down with you, for his brother is dead, and he is left alone. If any harm should come to him along the way in which you go, then you would bring down my grey hair with sorrow to She’ol.”

But Ya‛aqoḇ did not send Yosĕph’s brother Binyamin with his brothers, for he said, “Lest some harm come to him.”

And Ěl Shaddai give to you compassion before the man, so that he shall release your other brother and Binyamin. And I, if I am bereaved, I am bereaved!

“Binyamin is a wolf that tears, in the morning he eats prey, and at night he divides the spoil.”

And Yaḇĕts was more esteemed than his brothers, and his mother called his name Yaḇĕts, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”

For You do not leave my being in She’ol, Neither let Your Lovingly-committed One see corruption.

Let Your hand be upon the One at Your right hand, Upon the Son of Aḏam whom You made strong for Yourself,

‘And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it.

They say to their mothers, “Where is grain and wine?” As they languish like the wounded In the streets of the city, As their life is poured out in their mothers’ bosom.

“But Elohim said to him, ‘You mindless one! This night your life shall be demanded from you. And who shall own what you have prepared?’

And crying out with a loud voice, יהושע said, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And having said this, He breathed His last.

And they were stoning Stephanos as he was calling and saying, “Master יהושע, receive my spirit.”
