And he said, “Name me your wages, and I give it.”
Then Laḇan said to Ya‛aqoḇ, “Because you are my relative, should you therefore serve me for naught? Let me know, what should your wages be?”
And Laḇan said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me.”
“These twenty years I have been in your house. I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.
“Yet your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but Elohim did not allow him to do evil to me.
