And he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night. When they arose in the morning he said, “Let me go to my master.”

And he said to them, “Do not delay me, since יהוה has prospered my way. Let me go so that I go to my master.”

So they let go Riḇqah their sister and her nurse, and Aḇraham’s servant and his men.

And it came to be, when Raḥĕl had borne Yosĕph, that Ya‛aqoḇ said to Laḇan, “Send me on my way, to go to my own place and to my land.

So he sent his brothers away, and they left. And he said to them, “Do not quarrel along the way.”

And Aḥima‛ats son of Tsaḏoq said, “Please let me run and take the news to the sovereign, for יהוה has avenged him of his enemies.”

Do you see a man who is skilled in his work? He does stand before sovereigns, He does not stand before obscure ones.

Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not wise of you to have asked about this.
