And Aḇimeleḵ asked Aḇraham, “What are these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves?”
And Aḇraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.
And he said, “Take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, to be my witness that I have dug this well.”
Then Ěsaw said, “What do you mean by all this company which I met?” And he said, “To find favour in the eyes of my master.”
“And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What does this service mean to you?’
But Shemu’ĕl said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the cattle which I hear?”
