And Aḇraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

So Aḇraham took sheep and cattle and gave them to Aḇimeleḵ, and the two of them made a covenant.

And Aḇimeleḵ asked Aḇraham, “What are these seven ewe lambs which you have set by themselves?”

And he said, “Take these seven ewe lambs from my hand, to be my witness that I have dug this well.”
