And the children of Yisra’ĕl wept for Mosheh in the desert plains of Mo’aḇ thirty days. And the days of weeping and mourning for Mosheh were completed.

And they came to the threshing-floor of Ataḏ, which is beyond the Yardĕn, and they lamented there with a great and very heavy lamentation. And he performed seven days of mourning for his father.

And forty days were completed for him, for so are completed the days of embalming. And the Mitsrites wept for him seventy days.

And the wife of Uriyah heard that Uriyah her husband was dead, and she lamented for her husband.

The righteous one has perished, and no one takes it to heart. And committed men are taken away, while no one understands that the righteous one is taken away from the presence of evil,

And when all the congregation saw that Aharon was dead, all the house of Yisra’ĕl wept for Aharon, thirty days.

And dedicated men buried Stephanos, and made great lamentation over him.

And Mosheh was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his freshness gone.

And Yehoshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Mosheh had laid his hands on him. And the children of Yisra’ĕl listened to him, and did as יהוה had commanded Mosheh.

And Shemu’ĕl died, and all Yisra’ĕl gathered and mourned for him, and buried him at his home in Ramah. And Dawiḏ arose and went down into the Wilderness of Paran.
