“And I shall break the bar of Dammeseq, and cut off the inhabitant from the Valley of Awen, and the one who holds the sceptre from Bĕyth Ěḏen. And the people of Aram shall go exiled to Qir,” said יהוה.
And the rest of the acts of Yaroḇ‛am, and all that he did, and his might, how he fought, and how he recovered Dammeseq and Ḥamath for Yehuḏah in Yisra’ĕl, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl?

The mighty men of Baḇel have ceased to fight, they remained in their strongholds. Their might has failed, they became like women, they have burned her dwelling places. The bars of her gate have been broken.
Her gates have sunk into the ground. He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her sovereign and her rulers are among the nations. The Torah is no more, And her prophets have found no vision from יהוה.
And the high places of Awen, the sin of Yisra’ĕl, shall be destroyed, thorn and thistle come up on their slaughter-places. And they shall say to the mountains, “Cover us!” and to the hills, “Fall on us!”
“Are you not like the people of Kush to Me, O children of Yisra’ĕl?” declares יהוה. “Did I not bring up Yisra’ĕl from the land of Mitsrayim, and the Philistines from Kaphtor, and Aram from Qir?
