And Dawiḏ gave his son Shelomoh the plans for the porch, and its houses, and its treasuries, and its upper rooms, and its inner rooms, and the place of atonement;
And the sovereign called Yehoyaḏa the chief, and said to him, “Why have you not required the Lĕwites to bring in from Yehuḏah and from Yerushalayim the levy of Mosheh the servant of יהוה and of the assembly of Yisra’ĕl, for the Tent of the Witness?”
These were the appointments of the Dwelling Place, the Dwelling Place of the Witness, which was appointed by the mouth of Mosheh, for the service of the Lĕwites, by the hand of Ithamar, son of Aharon the priest.
And it came to be on the twentieth day of the second new moon, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from above the Dwelling Place of the Witness.
“But bring with you your brothers of the tribe of Lĕwi too, the tribe of your father to join you and serve you while you and your sons are with you before the Tent of the Witness.
And on the day that the Dwelling Place was raised up, the cloud covered the Dwelling Place, the Tent of the Witness. From evening until morning it was above the Dwelling Place like the appearance of fire.
who serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly, as Mosheh was warned when he was about to make the Tent. For He said, “See that you make all according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
And all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl assembled at Shiloh, and they let the Tent of Appointment dwell there. And the land was subdued before them.
And it came to be, when the people set out from their tents to pass over the Yardĕn, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,
