And these are the last words of Dawiḏ, the saying of Dawiḏ son of Yishai, the saying of the man raised above, the anointed of the Elohim of Ya‛aqoḇ, and the sweet singer of Yisra’ĕl:

“I have found My servant Dawiḏ; With My set-apart oil I anointed him,


Let the Word of Messiah dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing with pleasure in your hearts to the Master in psalms and songs of praise and spiritual songs.


And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Prophets and the Tehillim concerning Me.”


who are singing to the sound of the harp, having composed songs for themselves like Dawiḏ,


The prayers of Dawiḏ the son of Yishai are ended.


But I, I have set My Sovereign on Tsiyon, My set-apart mountain.


Sing to Him, sing praise to Him, Speak of all His wonders!


And on that day Dawiḏ first gave thanks to יהוה by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:


“Those who oppose יהוה are shattered, from the heavens He thunders against them. יהוה judges the ends of the earth, and gives strength to His sovereign, and exalts the horn of His anointed.”


Is any of you suffering evil? Let him pray. Is anyone in good spirits? Let him sing psalms.


For Dawiḏ himself said in the Book of Tehillim, ‘יהוה said to my Master, sit at My right hand,


And this is the blessing with which Mosheh the man of Elohim blessed the children of Yisra’ĕl before his death.


And Ya‛aqoḇ called his sons and said, “Gather together, so that I declare to you what is to befall you in the last days:


Now Dawiḏ was the son of that Ephrathite of Bĕyth Leḥem in Yehuḏah, whose name was Yishai, and he had eight sons, and in the days of Sha’ul the man was old among men.


And the women sang as they danced, and said, “Sha’ul struck his thousands, and Dawiḏ his ten thousands.”


“Making my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places,


“A tower of deliverance is He to His sovereign, And showing loving-commitment to His anointed, To Dawiḏ and his seed, forever.”


With whom My hand is established; My arm also strengthens him.”
