“Teaching my hands for battle, So that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
He shall flee from the iron weapon, a bronze bow pierce him through.
Blessed be יהוה my Rock, Who is teaching my hands for fighting, My fingers for battle;
Causing all fighting to cease, Unto the end of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the chariot with fire.
and shall strike the bow out of your left hand, and make the arrows fall from your right hand.
But Dawiḏ said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the Name of יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of the armies of Yisra’ĕl, whom you have reproached.
