Take heed not to refuse the One speaking. For if those did not escape who refused the warning on earth, much less we who turn away from Him from heaven,


Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send, receives Me. And he who receives Me, receives Him who sent Me.


יהושע then said to him, “If you people do not see signs and wonders, you do not believe at all.”


For everyone who is exalting himself shall be humbled, and he who is humbling himself shall be exalted.


And when the young man heard the word, he went away sad, because he had many possessions.


But she said, “Yes Master, for even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”


And the captain answering, said, “Master, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only say a word, and my servant shall be healed.


By pride comes only strife, But wisdom is with those who take advice.


Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear יהוה and turn away from evil.


“For the turning away of the simple kills them, And the complacency of fools destroys them.


And now, return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet, and let him pray for you and you live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall certainly die, you and all that are yours.


And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Yardĕn, that your flesh might be restored to you, and be clean.”


“Are not the Aḇanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Dammeseq, better than all the waters of Yisra’ĕl? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” And he turned and went away in a rage.


So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her, and she poured it out.
