And Shelomoh went to Ḥamath Tsoḇah and took hold of it.
Dawiḏ also struck Haḏaḏezer son of Reḥoḇ, sovereign of Tsoḇah, as he went to restore his rule at the River Euphrates.
And the rest of the acts of Yaroḇ‛am, and all that he did, and his might, how he fought, and how he recovered Dammeseq and Ḥamath for Yehuḏah in Yisra’ĕl, are they not written in the book of the annals of the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl?
Where is the sovereign of Ḥamath, and the sovereign of Arpaḏ, and the sovereign of the city of Sepharwayim, Hĕna, and Iwwah?’ ”
And Dawiḏ struck Haḏaḏezer sovereign of Tsoḇah as far as Ḥamath, as he went to establish his power by the River Euphrates.
As to the cities which Ḥuram had given to Shelomoh, Shelomoh had built them, and he settled the children of Yisra’ĕl there.
And he built Taḏmor in the wilderness, and all the storage cities which he built in Ḥamath.
So they went up and spied out the land from the Wilderness of Tsin as far as Reḥoḇ, near the entrance of Ḥamath.
from Mount Hor you mark out your border to the entrance of Ḥamath, and the edge of the border shall be toward Tseḏaḏ,
