And it came to be at the time when Mĕraḇ, Sha’ul’s daughter, should have been given to Dawiḏ, that she was given to Aḏri’ĕl the Meḥolathite as a wife.
And the sovereign took the two sons of Ritspah the daughter of Ayah, whom she bore to Sha’ul: Armoni and the other Mephiḇosheth, and the five sons of Miḵal the daughter of Sha’ul, whom she brought up for Aḏri’ĕl the son of Barzillai, the Meḥolathite,
Ba‛ana son of Aḥiluḏ, in Ta‛anaḵ and Meḡiddo, and all Bĕyth She’an, which is beside Tsarethan below Yizre‛ĕl, from Bĕyth She’an to Aḇĕl Meḥolah, as far as the other side of Yoqne‛am;
and the three hundred blew the shopharot, and יהוה set the sword of each one against the other throughout all the camp. And the army fled to Bĕyth Shittah, toward Tserĕrah, as far as the border of Aḇĕl Meḥolah, by Tabbath.
