In the third year of Asa sovereign of Yehuḏah, Ba‛asha son of Aḥiyah became sovereign over all Yisra’ĕl in Tirtsah, and reigned twenty-four years.

And the wife of Yaroḇ‛am rose up and went, and came to Tirtsah. When she came to the threshold of the house, the child died.

And there was fighting between Asa and Ba‛asha sovereign of Yisra’ĕl all their days.

And there was fighting between Asa and Ba‛asha sovereign of Yisra’ĕl all their days.

And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, and walked in the way of Yaroḇ‛am, and in his sin by which he had made Yisra’ĕl sin.

In the twenty-sixth year of Asa sovereign of Yehuḏah, Ělah son of Ba‛asha began to reign over Yisra’ĕl in Tirtsah, two years.

And there was no more fighting until the thirty-fifth year of the reign of Asa.
