So Shelomoh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the City of Dawiḏ his father, and Reḥaḇ‛am his son reigned in his place.

So Reḥaḇ‛am slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of Dawiḏ. And the name of his mother was Na‛amah the Ammonitess. And Aḇiyam his son reigned in his place.

So Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of Dawiḏ his father. And Yehoshaphat his son reigned in his place.

So Aḇiyam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of Dawiḏ. And Asa his son reigned in his place.

And he was buried in his burial-place in the garden of Uzza. And his son Yoshiyahu reigned in his place.

And Shelomoh’s son was Reḥaḇ‛am, Aḇiyah his son, Asa his son, Yehoshaphat his son,

“And vain men gathered to him, sons of Beliya‛al, and strengthened themselves against Reḥaḇ‛am son of Shelomoh, when Reḥaḇ‛am was young and tender of heart and could not be strong against them.

He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Yerushalayim, to no one’s regret, and passed away. And they buried him in the City of Dawiḏ, but not in the burial-sites of the sovereigns.

So Uzziyahu slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial-place which belonged to the sovereigns, for they said, “He is a leper.” And Yotham his son reigned in his place.

So Aḥaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, in Yerushalayim, but they did not bring him into the burial-sites of the sovereigns of Yisra’ĕl. And Ḥizqiyahu his son reigned in his place.

And Shelomoh reigned in Yerushalayim over all Yisra’ĕl forty years.

So Shelomoh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the City of Dawiḏ his father. And Reḥaḇ‛am his son reigned in his place.

And who knows whether he is wise or foolish? Yet he shall rule over all my labour in which I toiled and in which I have shown myself wise under the sun. That too is futile.

“He shall be buried – the burial-place of a donkey – dragged and thrown outside the gates of Yerushalayim.

And Salmon brought forth Bo‛az by Raḥaḇ, and Bo‛az brought forth Oḇĕḏ by Ruth, and Oḇĕḏ brought forth Yishai.

And Shelomoh brought forth Reḥaḇ‛am, and Reḥaḇ‛am brought forth Aḇiyah, and Aḇiyah brought forth Asa.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, you are about to sleep with your fathers. And this people shall rise and whore after the mighty ones of the strangers of the land into the midst of which they shall enter, and forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.
