And the sons of Shemu’ĕl: Yo’ĕl the first-born, and Aḇiyah the second.

Eliyaḇ his son, Yeroḥam his son, Elqanah his son.

The sons of Merari: Maḥli, Liḇni his son, Shim‛i his son, Uzzah his son,

And these are the ones who stood with their sons: Of the sons of the Qehathites were Hĕman the singer, son of Yo’ĕl, son of Shemu’ĕl,

And the name of his first-born was Yo’ĕl, and the name of his second, Aḇiyah, rulers in Be’ĕrsheḇa.
