And Yoshiyahu brought forth Yeḵonyah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Baḇel.


So Yehoyaqim slept with his fathers. And Yehoyaḵin his son reigned in his place.


“As I live,” declares יהוה, “though Konyahu son of Yehoyaqim, sovereign of Yehuḏah, were the signet on My right hand, I would still pull you off from there;


And the sovereign of Baḇel set up Mattanyah, Yehoyaḵin’s uncle, to reign in his place, and changed his name to Tsiḏqiyahu.


Yehoyaḵin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Yerushalayim three new moons. And his mother’s name was Neḥushta the daughter of Elnathan of Yerushalayim.


“Is this man Konyahu a despised broken pot, or an undesirable vessel? Why are they hurled out, he and his descendants, and cast into a land which they do not know?


Yehoyaḵin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Yerushalayim three new moons and ten days. And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה.


And the sons of Yoshiyahu: Yoḥanan the first-born, the second Yehoyaqim, the third Tsiḏqiyahu, the fourth Shallum.


And it came to be in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Yehoyaḵin sovereign of Yehuḏah, in the twelfth new moon, on the twenty-seventh of the new moon, that Ewil-Meroḏaḵ sovereign of Baḇel, in the year that he began to reign, released Yehoyaḵin sovereign of Yehuḏah from prison,


And the sons of Yeḵonyah the captive: She’alti’ĕl his son,


And Sovereign Tsiḏqiyahu son of Yoshiyahu reigned instead of Konyahu son of Yehoyaqim, whom Neḇuḵaḏretstsar sovereign of Baḇel set up to reign in the land of Yehuḏah.


And יהוה Elohim of their fathers sent to them, by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, for He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
