Naḥshon brought forth Salma, and Salma brought forth Bo‛az;

Ram brought forth Amminaḏaḇ, and Amminaḏaḇ brought forth Naḥshon, leader of the children of Yehuḏah;

Bo‛az brought forth Oḇĕḏ, and Oḇĕḏ brought forth Yishai;

of Yishai, of Oḇĕḏ, of Bo‛az, of Salmon, of Naḥshon,

And Bo‛az said to his servant who was appointed over the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?”

And Salmon brought forth Bo‛az, and Bo‛az brought forth Oḇĕḏ.
