And Yo’aḇ son of Tseruyah was over the army, and Yehoshaphat son of Aḥiluḏ was recorder,

And Dawiḏ said, “Whoever strikes the Yeḇusites first becomes chief and commander.” And Yo’aḇ son of Tseruyah went up first, and became chief.

Eliḥoreph and Aḥiyah, sons of Shisha, scribes; Yehoshaphat son of Aḥiluḏ, the recorder;

And Yo’aḇ son of Tseruyah was over the army, and Yehoshaphat son of Aḥiluḏ was recorder,

So Dawiḏ reigned over all Yisra’ĕl, and he was doing right-ruling and righteousness to all his people.

and Tsaḏoq son of Aḥituḇ and Aḇimeleḵ son of Eḇyathar were the priests, and Shawsha was the scribe,

And after Aḥithophel was Yehoyaḏa son of Benayahu, then Eḇyathar. And the chief of the sovereign’s army was Yo’aḇ.
