So all Yisra’ĕl brought up the ark of the covenant of יהוה with shouting and with a voice of a shophar, with trumpets and with cymbals, sounding with harps and lyres.
And Dawiḏ and all the house of Yisra’ĕl were dancing before יהוה, with all instruments of fir wood, and with lyres, and with harps, and with tambourines, and with sistrums, and with cymbals.
And Dawiḏ and all Yisra’ĕl were playing before Elohim with all their might, and with songs, and with lyres, and with harps, and with tambourines, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.
And Dawiḏ spoke to the leaders of the Lĕwites to appoint their brothers the singers with instruments of song, harps, and lyres, and cymbals, to lift up the voice with joy.
and Sheḇanyahu, and Yoshaphat, and Nethan’ĕl, and Amasai, and Zeḵaryahu, and Benayahu, and Eli‛ezer, the priests, were to blow the trumpets before the ark of Elohim. And Oḇĕḏ-Eḏom and Yeḥiyah, were doorkeepers for the ark.
And Dawiḏ was dressed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Lĕwites who bore the ark, the singers, and Kenanyah the leader of the service with the singers. And Dawiḏ wore a linen shoulder garment.
And it came to be, as the ark of the covenant of יהוה came to the City of Dawiḏ, that Miḵal the daughter of Sha’ul, looking through a window, saw Sovereign Dawiḏ dancing and playing. And she despised him in her heart.
And Dawiḏ and the commanders of the army separated for the service some of the sons of Asaph, and of Hĕman, and of Yeḏuthun, who should prophesy with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals. And the number of the workmen according to their service was:
And at the dedication of the wall of Yerushalayim they sought out the Lĕwites in all their places, to bring them to Yerushalayim to perform the dedication with gladness, and with thanksgivings, and with singing, cymbals, harps and lyres.
