And receive him who is weak in the belief, not criticising his thoughts.

See, you have instructed many, and you have made weak hands strong.

He feeds His flock like a shepherd, He gathers the lambs with His arm, and carries them in His bosom, gently leading those who are with young.

“A crushed reed He does not break, and smoking flax He does not quench. He brings forth right-ruling in accordance with truth.

“I shall seek out the lost and bring back the strayed. And I shall bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick, but the fat and the strong I shall destroy. I shall feed them with right-ruling.”

“You have not strengthened the weak, nor have you healed the sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back the straying, nor sought what was lost; but you have ruled them with might and harshness.

“For look, I am raising up a shepherd in the land who does not visit those straying, nor seek the young, nor heal those that are broken, nor feed those that still stand. But he does eat the flesh of the fat and tear off their hooves.

“A crushed reed He shall not break, and smoking flax He shall not quench, till He brings forth right-ruling forever.

And immediately יהושע  stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “O you of little belief, why did you doubt?”

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in the heavens their messengers always see the face of My Father who is in the heavens.

because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purging all the foods?”

“It would be better for him if a millstone is put around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send, receives Me. And he who receives Me, receives Him who sent Me.”

And the foreigners showed us extraordinary kindness, for they kindled a fire and received us all, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold.

For if their casting away is the restoration to favour of the world, what is their acceptance but life from the dead?

One indeed believes to eat all food, but he who is weak eats only vegetables.

It is good not to eat meat or drink wine, nor to do whatever by which your brother stumbles.

He that eats, let him not despise him who does not eat, and he that does not eat, let him not judge him who eats, for Elohim received him.

But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

So accept one another, as Messiah also did accept us, to the esteem of Elohim.

And not having grown weak in belief, he did not consider his own body, already dead, being about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb,

To the weak I became as weak, so as to win the weak. To all men I have become all, so as to save some, by all means.

Receive him therefore in the Master with all joy, and hold such as he in esteem,

And we appeal to you, brothers, warn those who are disorderly, encourage the faint-hearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.

But solid food is for the mature whose senses have been trained by practice to discern both good and evil.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house nor greet him,
