For Elohim has shut them all up to disobedience, in order to have compassion on all.

But the Scripture has shut up all mankind under sin, that the promise by belief in יהושע Messiah might be given to those who believe.

What then? Are we better than they? Not at all, for we have previously accused both Yehuḏ

and the righteousness of Elohim is through belief in יהושע Messiah to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference,

“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, shall draw all men unto Myself.”

This one came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all might believe through him.

For as through the disobedience of one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One many shall be made righteous.

so also these have now disobeyed, that through the compassion shown you they also might obtain compassion.

But before belief came, we were being guarded under Torah, having been shut up for the belief being about to be revealed.
