Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of Elohim, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

prove them all. Hold fast what is good.

which is not another, only there are some who are troubling you and wishing to pervert the Good News of Messiah.

For יהוה  knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wrong comes to naught.

“And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write, ‘He who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars, says this, “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

For Elohim is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love which you have shown toward His Name, in that you have attended to the set-apart ones, and still attend.

so that we should no longer be children, tossed and borne about by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men, in cleverness, unto the craftiness of leading astray,

“I know your works, and pressure, and poverty – yet you are rich – and the blasphemy of those who say they are Yehuḏ

“Yet this you have, that you hate the works of the Nikolaites, which I also hate.

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot.

“And then I shall declare to them, ‘I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work lawlessness!’

And this He said, trying him, for He Himself knew what He would do.

“So remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works, or else I shall come to you speedily and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
