“You called in distress, and I rescued you; I answered you in the covering of thunder; I proved you at the waters of Meriḇ
And when the blast of the ram’s horn sounded long and became louder and louder, Mosheh spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice.
“And call upon Me in the day of distress – Let Me rescue you, and you esteem Me.”
These were the waters of Meriḇ
And it came to be after these many days that the sovereign of Mitsrayim died. And the children of Yisra’ĕ
And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Yisra’ĕ
And it came to be, in the morning watch, that יהוה looked down upon the army of the Mitsrites through the column of fire and cloud, and He brought the army of the Mitsrites into confusion.
And of Lĕ
“Aharon is to be gathered to his people, for he is not to enter the land which I have given to the children of Yisra’ĕ
“Say, therefore, to the children of Yisra’ĕ
“I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery.
‘I am יהוה your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage.
“Therefore see, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when it is no longer said, ‘יהוה lives who brought up the children of Yisra’ĕ
