Yet, when I tried to understand this, It was labour to my eyes –
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; Your right-rulings are a great deep; O יהוה, You save man and beast.
“As but a shadow each one walks; They busy themselves, only in vain; He heaps up wealth, But knows not who gathers them.
Your way was in the sea, And Your path in the great waters, And Your footsteps were not known.
Clouds and darkness all around Him, Righteousness and right-ruling are the foundation of His throne.
And I set my heart to know wisdom – and to know madness and folly. I know that this too is feeding on wind.
then I saw all the work of Elohim, that man is unable to find out the work that has been done under the sun. For though a man labours to seek, yet he does not find it. And even though a wise one claims to know, he is unable to find it.
Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways!
