Arise, O יהוה, in Your displeasure; Lift Yourself up against the rage of my adversaries, And awake for me! You shall command judgment!
Awake! Why do You sleep, O יהוה ? Arise! Do not reject us forever.
Stir up Yourself and awake to my right-ruling – To my cause, my Elohim and my Master.
Arise, O יהוה ; Save me, O my Elohim! Because You have smitten all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wrong.
“Now I rise up,” declares יהוה. “Now I am exalted, now I am lifted up.
Though I walk in the midst of distress, You revive me; You stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand saves me.
Arise, be our help, And redeem us for Your kindness’ sake.
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of יהוה! Awake as in days of old, everlasting generations. Was it not You who cut Rahaḇ
“And now, O יהוה our Elohim, save us from his hand, so that all the reigns of the earth know that You are יהוה, You alone.”
יהוה shall stand up to plead, and is standing to judge the peoples.
יהוה is doing righteousness And right-ruling for all the oppressed.
Then יהוה awoke as one asleep, As a mighty man who shouts because of wine.
Lift up Your steps to the endless ruins; The enemy has done all evil in the set-apart place.
יהוה, when You awake You despise their image, As one does a dream after waking.
And You, יהוה Elohim of hosts, Elohim of Yisra’ĕ
O יהוה, strive with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.
“Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, I now arise,” says יהוה, “I set in safety – he pants for it.”
Aḇ
For the enemy has pursued my being; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in dark places, Like the dead of old.
