And do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am in distress; Answer me speedily.
Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in displeasure; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O Elohim of my deliverance.
Do not hide Your face from me In the day of my distress; Incline Your ear to me; In the day I call, answer me speedily.
And about the ninth hour יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Ě
O Elohim, deliver me! Hasten to my help, O יהוה!
Deliver me from my enemies, O יהוה ; I take refuge in You.
That which my lips have uttered And my mouth spoke in my distress.
Why do You hide Your face, Ignoring our affliction and our oppression?
Be pleased, O יהוה, to deliver me; O יהוה, hasten to help me!
How long would You forget me, O יהוה ? Forever? How long would You hide Your face from me?
And why do You not pardon my transgression, and take away my crookedness? For now I lie down in the dust, and You shall seek me, but I am not.”
Then He said to them, “My being is exceedingly grieved, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
Hasten, answer me, O יהוה ; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those going down into the pit.
For He has not despised Nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard.
The kindnesses of יהוה! For we have not been consumed, For His compassions have not ended.
