My mouth speaks wisdom, And the meditation of my heart brings understanding.
My words are from the uprightness of my heart, my lips shall speak knowledge clearly.
If not, listen to me, keep silent, and let me teach you wisdom.”
My meditation on Him is sweet; I rejoice in יהוה.
The opening up of Your words gives light, Giving understanding to the simple.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be pleasing before You, O יהוה, my rock and my redeemer.
The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of right-ruling.
But know that יהוה has separated a kind one for Himself; יהוה hears when I call to Him.
My heart is overflowing with a goodly word; I address my works to the Sovereign; My tongue is the pen of a speedy writer.
Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;
“The good man brings forth what is good from the good treasures of his heart, and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked from the wicked treasure.
“Let my instruction fall as rain, My speech drop down as dew, As fine rain on the tender plants, And as showers on the grass.
