They reward me evil for good, bereaving my life.
So Ḥ
I cried out to You, O יהוה : I said, “You are my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.
And those who repay evil for good, They oppose me, because I follow what is good.
Do not forsake me, O יהוה ; O my Elohim, be not far from me!
Whoever rewards evil for good, Evil does not leave his house.
Should good be repaid with evil? For they have dug a pit for my life. Remember that I stood before You to speak good for them, and to turn away Your wrath from them.
יהושע answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. Because of which of these works do you stone Me?”
