For the sake of Your servant Dawiḏ
Afterward the children of Yisra’ĕ
O Elohim, see our shield, And look upon the face of Your anointed.
“O יהוה Elohim, do not turn away the face of Your anointed; remember the kind acts of Your servant Dawiḏ
‘And I shall defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for the sake of Dawiḏ
‘But I do not take all the reign out of his hand, because I have made him ruler all the days of his life for the sake of My servant Dawiḏ
However, יהוה would not destroy Yehuḏ
For a day in Your courts Is better than a thousand days. I have chosen rather to be a doorkeeper In the House of my Elohim, Than to dwell in the tents of the wrong.
Who gives deliverance to sovereigns, Who rescues Dawiḏ
