Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
when His lamp shone on my head, when I walked in the dark by His light;
For You Yourself light my lamp; יהוה my Elohim makes my darkness light.
The orders of יהוה are straight, rejoicing the heart; The command of יהוה is clear, enlightening the eyes;
Send forth Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me, Let them bring me to Your set-apart mountain And to Your dwelling places.
For the command is a lamp, And the Torah a light, And reproofs of discipline a way of life,
But all matters being reproved are manifested by the light, for whatever is manifested is light.
And we have the prophetic word made more certain, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,
