I have not strayed from the command of His lips. I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily portion.

More desirable than gold, Than much fine gold; And sweeter than honey and the honeycomb.

Also, Your servant is warned by them, In guarding them there is great reward.

My being is satisfied as with marrow and fat, And my mouth praises You with singing lips.

For wisdom would enter your heart, And knowledge be pleasant to your being,

Her ways are pleasant ways, And all her paths are peace.

“For wisdom is better than rubies, And all delights are not comparable to her.

And I took the little book out of the messenger’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
